In my current role as a Dental Administrative with Kensington Dental Clinic, I have a variety of responsibilities that include presenting patients with treatment plans, scheduling of appointments and providing pre, post and follow up information to patients. In addition to my primary responsibilities, my excellent people skills have helped me to quickly succeed during my tenure with Kensington Dental Clinic.
I consider my Administrative Assistant Diploma an excellent asset in my career. Being an Honor Roll student in this program I excelled in acquiring the programs highlights which included Oral Histology, Head and Neck Anatomy, Landmarks of the Face and Oral Cavity, Tooth Morphology, Oral Health and Prevention of Dental Diseases, Periodontal Disease, Oral Pathology, Disease Transmission and Infection Prevention, Oral Diagnosis and Treatment Planning, Dental Instruments, Anesthesia, Radiation Safety, Intraoral/ Extraoral Imaging, Restorative Materials, General Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Provisional Coverage, Implants, Endodontics, Periodontics, Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. Further to that, we were provided extensive information on how to professionally communicate in a dental office, manage patient records and operating systems.
