Dr. Rana Ibadi
Dr. Rana Ibadi is a dental practitioner who has been practicing both nationally and internationally for more than a decade. She earned her second Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree D.D.S. from Dalhousie Dental School in 2014, Dr. Ibadi moved with her family to Edmonton and since then she keeps providing the highest quality lifetime dental care in a professional, caring, respectful, and courteous manner.
Dr. Ibadi enjoys treating patients from all cultures and of all ages. She focuses on her patients’ wants and needs, and offers long-term comprehensive solutions. Committed to staying current with the latest dental technologies and treatments, Dr. Ibadi pursues continual education in dentistry and is up-to-date with the latest dental technologies and courses. She practices a full range of dental services, including preventive, cosmetic, restorative and reconstructive dentistry.
Dr. Ibadi loves to help boost her patients’ self-confidence with a functional and beautiful smile in a relaxing, friendly environment.
Sanaa has over three years of experience in the dental field and is experienced in assisting with dental procedures and treatments. Prior to working as a dental assistant, Sana received three dental certifications: Dental Assistant Level II, Registered Dental Assisting, and Sedation Assistant. During her studies, Sanaa received numerous awards of excellence for achieving 90% or better, including awards for: Medical Emergencies, Clinical Dentistry, Dental Materials, Prevention of Disease and Transition, Pharmacology, Preventative Dentistry & Nutrition, Dental Specialties, and Diagnostic Records. Sanaa is passionate about helping others achieve their best smile – by providing kind and professional dental assistance during checkups, teeth cleaning and dental procedures.
In my current role as a Dental Administrative with Kensington Dental Clinic, I have a variety of responsibilities that include presenting patients with treatment plans, scheduling of appointments and providing pre, post and follow up information to patients. In addition to my primary responsibilities, my excellent people skills have helped me to quickly succeed during my tenure with Kensington Dental Clinic.
I consider my Administrative Assistant Diploma an excellent asset in my career. Being an Honor Roll student in this program I excelled in acquiring the programs highlights which included Oral Histology, Head and Neck Anatomy, Landmarks of the Face and Oral Cavity, Tooth Morphology, Oral Health and Prevention of Dental Diseases, Periodontal Disease, Oral Pathology, Disease Transmission and Infection Prevention, Oral Diagnosis and Treatment Planning, Dental Instruments, Anesthesia, Radiation Safety, Intraoral/ Extraoral Imaging, Restorative Materials, General Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Provisional Coverage, Implants, Endodontics, Periodontics, Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. Further to that, we were provided extensive information on how to professionally communicate in a dental office, manage patient records and operating systems.
My experience and education have positioned me well to succeed in the Dental Administrative role and I am eager for the new opportunity and challenges. I am often commended for my initiative and pride myself in bringing a positive, enthusiastic attitude to my workplace, while always continuing to learn.
Ellen is a dental assistant at Kensington Dental Clinic, with over 20 years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant II. While working as a chairside assistant, Ellen gained additional experience in expanded intraoral duties and sterilization. Ellen received her most recent certification as a Registered Dental Assistant Level II in November of 2019. Ellen received her first certification in Dental Assisting in June of 1994 from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) and has worked in the dental field ever since. Ellen enjoys helping patients achieve a brighter smile, by assisting with dental treatments and procedures.
An administrative position in the dental/healthcare field, demonstrating efficiency, diligence, and reliability for the last 29 years. Cathrina is glad to be helping patients through her work as a front office receptionist at Kensington Dental Clinic. With over 16 years of experience in working at dental offices, Cathrina has experience as a dental assistant, hygiene & treatment coordinator, dental office manager and as a dental receptionist. While working as a dental assistant, Catherine gained experience in assisting with dental procedures, mixing and pouring moulds, sterilizing instruments, processing radiographs, and charting patients’ files. Cathrina enjoys applying her knowledge in the field of dentistry to help patients by providing education on dental treatments when they book their appointments.
